CAPTAIN: Pierre Makdessi, 39 years old, French/Lebanese
Excelling in everything he turns his hand to, Captain Pierre Makdessi has an impeccable reputation amongst yachting professionals. At the ripe young age of just fourteen he learnt how to skipper a passenger boat belonging to his uncle and by the age of 16 he was articulating his skillsets in the merchant Navy. Pierre's ambitious nature has lead him to Pilot aircraft and captain Anchor handling tug supply vessels where his technical ability and engineering expertise really came into action. He has travelled the globe extensively on super yachts in excess of 110m and has over 20years experience as a master seaman. Pierre speaks French, English, Arabic and Italian.

FIRST MATE: Geoff Brown, 25 years old, British/South African
At 25 years old South African Geoff brown has had a colourful background having been a model and actor starring in such films as 'Invictus." His real passions however, are in design and having graduated with a degree in Industrial design he hopes to one day become a naval architect. Hence his full integration into the super yacht industry. Having worked on busy charter and private vessels, Geoff has three years experience and has swiftly worked his way up from a deckhand to chief officer due to his dedicated and professional attitude. Gregarious by nature and strong in both mind and body, Geoff is most happy when he's hurtling down a piste on his snowboard with his mates or doing anything sportive in the great outdoors! He speaks English and fluent Afrikaans, basic French and Dutch.

CHIEF ENGINEER: Marvin Gledhill, 27 years old, French
Despite his young age, Marvin Gledhill has been sailing our oceans for seventeen years. He has his unlimited tickets and has worked as an engineer on large tankers and cruise ships alike and for the last few years has turned his skillset to the luxury yachting industry. Wise beyond his years yet very modest Marvin is well liked by all those around him and has a cheerful demeanor. He is at his most content when listening to good music amongst friends, windsurfing, participating in some extreme sports or simply doing what he loves the most - sailing. Marvin speaks French, fluent English and basic Italian.

CHEF: Mathieu Marcoulides, 28 years old, French
An open-minded chef, Mathieu has cooked in various different countries including England, New Zealand, Spain and France- learning new skills and languages along the way! A lover of the great outdoors Mathieu feels his best when in the mountains or around the ocean. His passion for the natural environment is reflected in his cooking and he only uses fresh seasonal ingredients. With true Mediterranean spirit, the Marseilles born young chef lets the seasons guide his hobbies. In the winter he loves to ski and snowboard and in the summer he is delighted to get kite surfing, swimming and scuba diving! Mathieu also likes to go to the theatre or cinema and enjoys fine wine with good company! Mathieu speaks French, fluent English and Spanish.

2ND ENGINEER: William Antunes, 42 years old, French/Australian
William honed his mechanical engineering expertise in the motorcycle industry before stepping into the world of yachting within which he has remained for the last 26 years. During this time he has travelled the far-reaching corners of the globe and has accumulated a wide breadth of knowledge in all facets of engineering and on deck. Holding the MEOL and AEC certifications he is now aiming to do his Y4 to become a fully qualified engineer. William is a family man and has four children. He speaks French and fluent English, basic Italian and Spanish.

BOSUN: Jeremy Compas, 25 years old, French
Jeremy has been around boats all his life. At just 16 he worked in the Ports along the coast near Cannes where he was born. Helping skipper the local passenger ferries and transporting tourists to the Cannes islands and down to St. Tropez, Jeremy has worked hard, studied extensively and now holds his 500GT license. He is on his way to becoming a captain. Jeremy has travelled the world and loves water sports. He has his PADI and has been a ski instructor and in his free time likes to go fishing. Jeremy speaks his native French, fluent English and Italian.

CHIEF STEWARDESS: Charlotte Miller, 30 years old, British
Charlotte has been in the yachting industry for 8 years and has travelled extensively around the Mediterranean on both charter and private vessels. Having been a Chief stewardess for the past four years Charlotte has honed her organizational skills and trained new girls into the industry. She has also a great deal of experience working on deck and in the galley making her a hands-on and versatile crewmember. Having studied Architecture back at university Charlotte aspired to one day design or renovate her own home and through her career so far in yachting she has managed to realize her dream. Highly efficient Charlotte always gives 110% whether it be going the extra-mile for her guests onboard or getting stuck in with the renovations at home.

2ND STEWARDESS: Lucy Wallis, 24 years old, British
Lucy comes from a hospitality background having worked as a waitress, bar tender and hotel receptionist. Having graduated from university with a degree in Media and culture Lucy loves challenging herself by trying new things, and after having spent some time living in Northwest France she decided to immerse herself into the world of yachting and explore new territories. Physically fit and very presentable Lucy's passions in life are swimming, pilates and especially Scuba diving and she has achieved a PADI Open water diver certificate. Ambitious and highly organized Lucy is an asset to any team she joins and one day hopes to own and run her own patisserie as she is a keen baker!

3RD STEWARDESS: Jenna Hartley, 27 years old, British
Having had boats in the family all her life, Jenna is no stranger to the ocean faring ways! Coming from a hospitality background she has been waitressing, housekeeping, and spent five years as a sales executive for Watermota ltd where she organized imported shipping products from the U.S, Korea and Holland. Arranging and overseeing all areas of the business, Jenna often attended boat shows exhibitions and events- always keeping herself up to date with maritime products and designs. She went on to work at Darthaven marina as Service coordinator before deciding to get out of the office and onto the yachts! This will be Jenna's first season.
