Amerigo is a superb 56 foot cruiser/racer built in 2001 by Nautor Swan in Finland and an excellent option for family charters, friends who love to sail together, and romantic honeymoon and anniversary celebrations. Adhering to the Swan pedigree, Amerigo is exquisitely crafted, beautifully appointed and a joy to sail. Amerigo has superb deck spaces and a lovely seating arrangement for outdoor dining. Sprawl across the sunpads and soak up some rays, or relax in the hammock on deck. Plunge into the ocean from the swim platform equipped with freshwater shower for al fresco bathing. Below decks, Amerigo has a sizable saloon and dining area and accommodates six guests in three cabins for Captain only charters, or 4 guests in two cabins if a Chef is required. The large master cabin aft has a comfortable queen size bed, plenty of storage and private bathroom with stall shower. Two guest cabins are outfitted with bunk beds and ensuite bathrooms. Amerigo is as ideal for a holiday of island-hopping as she is for the thrill of competitive racing. Sail hard or at your leisure, completely relax or man the helm and learn to sail. Thanks to her Swan pedigree, Amerigo provides comfort, safety and an exhilarating sailing experience. For water sports fun, toys include snorkeling gear, and a 2-man kayak. Guests who want more speed on the water can enjoy wakeboarding and tubing. Charter Amerigo and discover how extraordinary a sailing vacation can be!  Sample St. Barth activity itinerary below for an idea of an Amerigo vacation. Day 1: Sail to Colombier for on-deck lunch, then get off the sailboat for a little to dinghy ashore for a beautiful coastline hike to Flamands. Day 2: Morning snorkeling at Les Gros Islets, afternoon swim at Shell beach.  Cliff-jumping optional. Day 3: Sail to Saline Beach, swim or dinghy ashore, lunch at the famous Le Tamarin. Day 4: Water-sports day! Tubing and wakeboarding behind the dinghy, halyard-swinging from the sailboat. Day 5: Wind-surfing lesson at Grand Cul-de-Sac. Day 6: Morning hike along Anse du Grand Fond, afternoon sunbathing (and recovery) on deck. Day 7: Around-the-island sail on the beautiful Amerigo sailboat, or around-the-island shopping!
